Hello everybody,

A few months ago I bought a female betta and she was in a 55-gallon tank by herself for about two weeks. Somehow I ended up with another female betta and long story short the original female betta wasn't happy ( Don't worry the other female is still alive healthy and in her own tank at my mother's house!)

Since then I have noticed that the original female has an extremely "domineering personality."

My question is would such a fish be able to live among a school of neon tetras? I Have kept Male bettas with neon tetras before and everything run smoothly.

Just not sure if I should go ahead and do it or not.

Thanks

+1 Witchipoo. If you absolutely want to try it, maybe establish all the other fish in the 55 with her in a smaller tank, and then transfer her over. If it's not already "her" territory, she may be more inclined to letting everything else live. If she's still too aggressive, you have an established home ready for her.
