Alan hasn't been acting properly. We change his water every 5 days or so, feed him on a normal daily schedule, but he sometimes looks as if he is "sleeping". This can either be sideways on the bottom or vertically in the middle of the tank. If I move his tank or tap on it, he moves and swims around, then goes back to his "sleeping" state. Don't know what to do!

Sorry your Betta isn't well....we need more information.....and a pic....

How big is the tank, water temp, additives used, filter, live plants, how much and how often are the water changes, appetite, any tank mates, how long have you had him and has he been sick and/or treated in the past....
