Almost expired betta pellets??

I got some Hikari betta bio-gold pellets today. I fed Pluto one old pellet and one new pellet for dinner. I was reading the back and it says it expires on July 6, 2014! Is it ok to feed him these after they are expired? Or should I get new?:-(

I bet it wont kill him. But i would say 4 freshness get some new ones.

Do you have the receipt from wherever you bought them? You can probably return them.

Actually I would take them back because your not getting your moneys worth. But I read an article in a aquarium magazine the other day that said that it's ok to use them if they are expired. Just don't go too many months over.
