Oy vey, guys,

See the attached pic. Are these snail eggs? I imagine they are.

I ordered ONE Nerite; I received two snails. Because I believed the company wouldn't send me two separate breeds, and because I unboxed the snails in front of my daughter ("Papa, why aren't you putting the other snail in?!"), I put them both in the tank. I imagine this was a mistake.

Anyway, if I'm right, what should I do to stem the baby snail onslaught (and before my daughter names all of them)?

Thanks for your ideas,

And help!

Saav

I'm happy to inform you that these eggs won't hatch unless the water is brackish. :)

Ah! Yes - let me ask another question: Do all snail eggs look alike? Or are these likely Nerite eggs?

I ask because I'm worried that the second snail isn't a Nerite.

Can you post a pic of the second "Nerite"? Those eggs are nerite snail eggs.
