Hi,

I've got a 55 gallon community tank and unfortunately I've had an infestation of anchor worms. Never buying fish from Petco ever again. I'm not sure who brought the worm into the tank, but I'm trying to fix the problem. Anyways, I was just wondering what a dead anchor worm looks like. I just pulled one off my female betta fish and in the beginning the anchor worm was white. I left it on her hoping it would just fall off with the medication, but I was worried so I pulled it off this evening and it was brown in color. Can anyone tell me what a live vs. dead anchor worm looks like?

I'm also using Microbe-Lift Lice & Anchor Worm medication. Has anybody tried this and has it worked for you? It says to dose 3 times, once a week, so tomorrow will be my 2nd dose. I hope it will work. Any information you have on anchor worms or suggestions to get rid of them would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
