So i went to try to find a thermometer that goes directly into the aquarium today, but i'm feeling rather lazy, so i didn't go all the way to my LFS, and where i checked had nothing suitable.
My tank has one of those "stuck on, mood ring type" thermometers.
I don't trust it, though I know it works.
Last night it was at 78 on the strip, i woke up this morning and 80 and 82 were both lit up, with the 78 fading.
SO INCONSISTENT.
So i'm trying to get it back to a happy medium around 80.
Since these aren't the most accurate and I won't have a proper one .. is this temp ok?
It's 78-86 degrees for betta thrivation right?
I don't want him to get too hot!
And i cant tell the EXACT temp when the 78 is lightly lit up blue, the 80 is the most solid at yellow..
is this ok temp wise when reading off a stick on the aquarium thermometor that is outside, not inside, the tank?
(and yes im going to get a proper one , just need to know in the meantime!!)
