I gonna get an 8g and a betta and I’m wondering if I could get some schooling fish and put it in the tank? I do have an extra tank that I could could the fish in if they end up fighting. Thanks!

We have a sub-forum "Other Fish" near the bottom. If these are fish that will be or might be with a Betta you can post here.

What are the dimensions of the aquarium? That's actually more important than number of gallons.

I would stick to small Nano fish like Rasbora and have a tank at least 50% planted.

The dimensions are 37cm by 23.5cm by 24.5cm.

I was thinking of harlequin rasboras, do you think that’ll work? How many can I get?
