I have a 10 gallon planted betta community tank with 1 betta, 8 neon tetra, a snail, and recetly 5 ghost shrimp. My betta is a very curious but passive betta and there has been no agresstion to anyone in the tank. The tetra are very comforatble with him and no losses. The only issue im having it algae. It was okay like first week but its started to grow a decent amount. I have a full spectrum light that is on a timer for 8 hours. I feed my fish twice a day. 2 pinches of flake food for tetra and 4 pellets for my betta is a full day. I have a sponge filter and i have been experimenting with the brightness on the light to see if that could be the problem.
Any tips or ideas?
