Alright so. It' pains me to do this, but it's really about time. My mom's been bothering me about fish, and I did rehome two, enough to satisfy her.

However, I've been taking on more hours at my job. over the past few weeks I've been unable to care properly for my fish due to work and my own lack of energy after it. I can see my fish have been suffering... and I'm realizing that while previously I had time to take care of them all, I no longer have enough time to maintain my smaller, more delicate tanks, and their residents.

I'm uncomfortable shipping fish, and would prefer if you could pick up in person.

The fish for adoption;

Zariel - DTPK male

Dandy Chap - DT, marble. Now is much more blue than in picture;

Volker - DTPK

Calder - PK

I am also looking to SELL two tanks. They come with filters/heaters/light/decor that are currently in them.

Petco 2.5 gallon desk top aquarium: Includes two silk plants, filter, thermometer, floating plastic water lettuce, black gravel, and zoomed betta heater. Asking price: $30

5 gallon glass aquarium: Includes thermometer, filter, hood with light, black and white gravel, offbrand preset heater (I think it's a tetra but am no longer sure), one silk and one plastic plant. Asking price: $40

Please understand that unless fish are adopted out tanks can NOT be sold without the adoption of a fish.

I wish I had more room..... :( I live in Lansing, MI. Hopefully you can find someone that's able to take them for you. My wife would kill me if I got any more right now. She' says are place is starting to look like a Betta's Paradise...lol!

However, if you weren't apposed to dropping by my doorstep and offering one as a gift to me or something, I don't see how my wife would get angry at me..lol! *Sneaky thoughts ensue* We could plan the whole thing out, and I could act totally surprised, telling her some random person that knows a friend of mine wanted to gift me one as an early early B-Day present...lol! I'm sooo bad... ^_^

If it came down to it though, I do know a local pet-store here named Pruess Pets that would take them for you as a donation at no charge charge and find them homes. I had to drop my brother's neglected 12inch Pleco off there a month or two ago so he could get the proper care he needed. It's a long story, let's just say that they were more than happy to take him and set up a QT in advance for him for me.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I've never shipped a fish before, and I'm really scared I'd do something wrong and someone would wind up dead. :c

I'm going to leave this up for maybe a week or two, and if I have no interest, I'll be putting it up on craigslist (the prices of the tanks will deff go up though. I wanted to give people on this forum a good deal. Both are currently priced less than they actually cost me to purchase as just tanks alone, not even including extras like gravel and decor and heaters.)

If you decide to ship, I'd take dandy chap and give him a great home. I've got a 20 gallon long already set up and split into 4 sections, and I was planning on buying 4 new fish to fill it...he certainly welcome to a space. Pm if you are interested.

I guess I'll take a look around and see about trying to find materials for shipping for them, and the general cost. I'm just really scared to do something wrong and wind up killing the fish. :C

When you find out, let me know. I am very very interested in Dandy Chap, and already have a quarantine tank, as well as the diver for my 10 gallon cycled and heated tank

Lots of people on here have shipped fish before, you'd probably be able to find somebody to answer your questions!

Dandy Chap is GORGEOUS!! Even if you did ship, I live in Canada and therefore couldn't get him, but he is lovely to behold.
