I just got this little guy at petsmart and he's soo small and doesn't flare. I know he's not like my other betta..

And do they grow?? and how big??

His colour is really beautiful, even more with that transparent at the end hehe. He seems to be young, older bettas are pale.

Thanks... I think he's younger because he's kind of shy and tolerant. He isn't aggressive and reserved as my other fish..

Very inaccurate information. I've had many naturally pale colored juvenile bettas. Along with many bright colored older bettas. So the above post is very wrong.

He is most likely 6-10 months of age, from his fin length, and the average pet store Betta age. He should grow to a miximum of around 3 inches, as he doesn't seem to be a "giant" betta
