I have been looking for items to geekify the boys tanks, and have run across an awesome seller on etsy that does custom 3D prints. He has a gorgeous stargate that would be beautiful in the tank, and says he can do a custom Moya, B5, Tardis, and Optimus Prime. These are perfect for the tanks, IF they are aquarium safe and can be made waterproof! Has anyone ever used 3D prints for tank decor before? and if so, what did you use to make it aquarium safe?
Some things like Moya and B5 are exceptionally hard to find even as large toys that can be sealed, so a 3D print would be soooooooo much simpler.

Thanks for your thoughts on this!

Most plastics are aquarium safe. Can you ask the seller what type of plastic he uses? He should know I would think.
