I recently got my betta a week ago and purchased 2 marimo moss and some java moss at an online store (mkaquariumstore.com).
I haven't gotten the marimo moss balls and the java yet as they are being shipped out.
Now I came across articles of Marimo moss balls containing zebra mussels and how it was a concern.
Are they still dangerous - any tips on what I should do?
Also concern if I should quarantine java moss before putting it inside my tank as I also came across how they can come with snails?
I owe a 2.5g tank with 1 male DT betta and 1 small anubilas nana plant.
Heated and with a sponge filter/air bubbler.
