Sooooo... I may or may not have gotten two boys from a chain store (yes yes I know dont trash me please they were looking very pathetic and were in green ass water). Ofc they are in seperate cycled tanks. I just wanted to make sure everything seemed fine with them. So far they have both had a complete dose of paracleanse and salt baths, I just added Ich-X for Sithis because he has little white dots (not on the eyes) and is having trouble breathing. Im going to pick up general cure tomorrow because it contains metro and does an array of things incase Ich-X doesnt work. Sithis seems to have these long parasites on his fins. Anyone know what that could be? The one with a more full tail is Sithis, and the one with a longer, skinnier tail is Sanguine. Tes names. Both are black and red crowntails, I have a type. Also ignore how nasty sanguines tank used to be I was medicating so I couldn't siphon it

I don't see the long parasites, just a normal tail for that variety of betta. I realize we're supposed to ask you to fill in the form, but I don't really think this post needs to be in Emergencies.

All they need is warm enough water 78-80 degrees F, good food like New Life Spectrum or Bug Bites fed at a rate of 3-5 pellets each feeding, two times a day, and reasonably frequent water changes (couple times a week initially) with Seachem Prime. Hold off on the rest of what you're doing, I don't think it's necessary.
Got it, thanks!
