He's still just as active as he's always been, still flares, and eats. But I've noticed that he swims by the filter input and seems to let it suck him to it and wrap around it. He doesn't stay there, as he's still active and swimming back and forth across the side, but why's he doing it!?

Could the current be too strong?

I had a betta that acted like that--it appeared to me that the betta LIKED the experience; it actually moped around after I tried to change the inflow. I ended up going back to the original, and he immediately started hanging around it again
