Quote from website "Betta Antuta is a hypothetically-undescribed species appears to be a member of the Betta unimaculata complex of closely-related species within the genus"

MY QUESTION: Can you breed within the unimaculata complex?

Such as(but not limited to): Betta Antuta crossed with Betta marcostoma?

Hey there, I would PM our member LittleBettaFish about this, she's bound to know. Just know that hybrids like this aren't very desirable in the market.

Quote Olympia : "Just know that hybrids like this aren't very desirable in the market. " Somewhat agree...but..with a note.."at the moment", who knows, maybe later? am just speaking from the fact that some of our current "betta splendens" are not "pure" betta splendens, especially those with "blink-blink" scales. and the market seems " highly demanded " them.

That is true, if you came up with something -amazing- the market would want it, but chances are they will look like normal wilds with a bad bloodline. :)
