They are so beautiful!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰My dream is to have a wild betta tank. My only concern is the breeding aspect. Do you breed them as well? I learned their breeding may be controlled by regulating their parameters to less than ideal breeding conditions.

I heard they aren’t quite as personable as domestic bettas but they are just so so sweet and pretty 😍and such a pleasure to watch them glide along so gracefully. And of course I LOVE Blackwater tanks. My absolute favorite. Maybe someday - but today it remains a dream! 💭 💕

I'm not breeding them unfortunately. They're still juvies though, so I'm hoping they'll breed once they mature. If you don't want many fry to survive, then keep them in a group-most fry will get eaten.

No, they aren't as personable as domestics... they're more! lol. Well, maybe not more, but in a diferent way. They're more shy and sweet, IMO. And definitely gorgeous, too.

I don't know honestly the school's website blocker is on a rampage :l
IDK.......

The Jades are here... They're 1/3 the size of my Coccinas who are juvies, so I'm confident they're also juvies, lol. They had a Hendra pair for 20 euros-what a steal! The Jades were 40 euros. Pretty good price tbh. They're acclimating now and they're soooo cuteeee! Already loving them. I'll post a vid in a few hours.

What are the water parameters of their transport water?

They are most likely wild caught, so I strongly recommend to keep them separated in 2 containers with no other stuff inside and then slowly add a thing from their tank step by step to get them accustomed to other bacteria.

If no issues occur, they can get in the tank after 10-14 days.

Τhey've been in city water for 3 days at the store, so there's not much I can do really. I asked if I could get them the moment they arrive, but the shop said they ''quarantine'' for 24 hours first. They don't seem stressed though, they already have very rich coloration.
