Betta Fish wont eat, a little bugle on his right side.

Hey,

I am new to betta fish, but from searching around I have learned alot about them.

My current betta fish has not eaten in 9 days, and before that he barely ate what I gave him. I got him from petsmart about two weeks ago. I can not see any signs of disease on him, no white spots or fins looking rotten.

He lives in a 1 gallon petsmart triangle tank, I have a 10 gallon getting ready for him that my parents had left over. He has a mini heater which keeps the temp around 74-76.

The only other actions that seem out of the norm are every once in a while he like freaks out and turns and swims really fast.

In the last day or two he also seems to spend a lot more time near the bottom instead of on the heater or one of the plants in his tank.

I have tried multiple types of food including:
-Aqua Culture Betta pellets
-Hikari Betta Bio-Gold Pellets
-Omega one Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp
-Omega one Freeze Dried Blood Worms

The only one he ever touched was the Brine shrimp and even then he didn't eat much.

I not seen any poop in his tank either.

I have tried giving him peas thinking maybe he wouldn't eat cause he is backed up, but he wouldn't eat them.

Almost forgot, I use tap water to fill his tank, but i use dechlorinator to get rid of bad things in the tap water.

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Notice his right side by his fins is bulging a little bit
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? he has been darting since I got him, he wont eat
When did you start noticing the symptoms? Since I got him
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Yes, peas. I also tried to give him a Epson Salt bath, but he jumped out of it so I put him back in his tank.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Don't know
How old is your fish (approximately)? idk, got him from the petsmart about 2 weeks ago

I am at little bit of a loss why he wont eat. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
