I have a community tank it is 20 gallons 78F with 1 crowntail betta, 2 rasboras(we will get more later on), 6 corydoras and 1 bristlenosed pleco! Now the pleco and corydoras eat an algea plate, the betta eats pellets and rasboras eat tropical flakes. Well my betta is eating the algea plate or what appears to be spitting it up everywhere or something. I think hes eating a little and spitting it out this thing is big and he already ate his pellets... the other day he was getting bloated so I fed him less pellets 1 in morning 2 at night and hes still eating the algae plate ....i dont want to over feed him but my other fish need to eat the tank is newer so theres no algae in it otherwise its annoying having to chase him with the net all the time what should I do?
