Has this ever happened to anyone before? I have this baby betta. I was really sad today because I was dealing with a breakup from a horrid guy who made me look like an idiot. I was just staring at my baby betta and poking my finger at the top of my tank just above the waters surface. He/she was following it, then I stopped my finger and watched him. Then all of a sudden he jumped and his little mouth nipped my finger. After that moment, he had melted my heart. I just could not stop giggling on how cute he/she was. Little guy made my day <3

They really do help you when you're sad. The only other fish I had with this much personality was my rainbow shark Suscio. I had to go to physical therapy for quite awhile for my back and hip and I would have to do exercises at home, sometimes it could kinda hurt but I could always look over at my bettas and they would distract me from it with there antics.

I have a baby too Ash, and he (or she I'm not sure lol) is cute but when I need someone to talk to I usually talk to my older one Guillermo, I swear he understands.

Yeah they really seem to help me out when I am down as well. My baby betta always stares at me when i wake up haha. It's really cute. Oh good, I'm not the only one who talks to their fish

Yes ofcourse, pets are very therapeutic.
