I bought my betta from petsmart 2 weeks ago. Its a 10 gallon tank. I noticed the first day I bought him one of his fins had a white tip (and he had a small white patch under his mouth-if this helps). The rest of the fins looked red like the rest of his body color. Now today I noticed that all of the fins tips have turned white. Its not a fuzzy white. I tried looking up what it was, but couldnt find an answer. The water is clean. and I have done weekly 25% changes. Why could they be white now. Does he have a disease or is this normal?

you might just have a marble or his colors are just changing because of the better environment he is in. Or he could be recovering from fin rot and the white is actually clear regrowth.

Just maintain the right environment for him
ie.
1 gallon+ tank
76-82F
6-8PH
fed twice a day, ~ 2 pellets/ feeding
have places to hide
no sharp ornaments
appropriate no. of water changes
etcetc

Can you show a picture..so we can see what your fishy looks like..a friend of mine was just telling me, her fishy is changing from a bland yellow to blue..just got her in a new home, so that may be the case with your fishy too
