I have a feeling I accidentally walloped by betta when his tank lid fell into the water a couple of days ago and this is where he got the bruise but I can't be sure--he has a black mark on his middle side, and a faint red mark towards his tail. Could this possibly be something else and how can I help him heal either way? His behavior is normal.
