Need help figuring out what to do next with my betta. Would like to not stress him out and put into a hospital tank if it's just bloat.

I will save as many shrimp and snails as possible if I need to medicate.

This tank parameters has been so well balanced and plants thrive and no spikes or harmful numbers so I'd like to not wreck my beneficial bacteria if possible.


Housing:
How many gallons is your tank? 5
Does it have a filter? Y
Does it have a heater? Y
What temperature is your tank? 79
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No
Does your Betta have tank mates? What kind? Shrimp and snails

Food:
What food brand do you use? Mix of hikari and San Francisco bay frozen food and new life spectrum pellets
Do you feed flakes or pellets? Once a week
Freeze-dried? No
How often do you feed your Betta? How much? Once a day or twice if small amount

Maintenance:
Before your Betta became ill how often did you perform a water change? Once a week or 1.5 weeks
What percentage of water did you change? 15%
What is the source of your water? Tap
Do you vacuum the substrate or just dip out water? Just water right now.
What additives do you use other than conditioner? What brand of conditioner? Prime. No other additives.

What are your water parameters? Please give exact numbers. If tested by pet store please get exact numbers. "Fine" or "Safe" won't help us help you. Important: Test your water before the regular water change; not after one.

Symptoms and Treatment:
When did you first notice the symptoms? Monday
How has your Betta’s appearance changed? Yes, belly looking white from bloating. Then scales started to rise but just on sides. Now one side is bloated and the other looks better after epsom bath this morning.
How has your Betta’s behavior changed? Stopped eating, lethargic.
Is your Betta still eating? No
Have you started treating your Betta? If so, how? Epsom salt baths to reduce swelling.
Does your Betta have any history of being ill? No
How long have you owned your Betta? 9 mths
Was he or she ill or suffering some sort of damage when purchased? No

The bloating was further up in stomach area earlier and even on both sides. Now front bloating has gone down and now further back and on that one side with the raised scales.
