I have a 2and a half gallon tank...is it as helpfull to change 75% of the water every four day as apose to 100% every week?

it probably would be better just to do a 50% change every 2-3 days ( i think) and a hundread% at the end of the week. if you change the water too often it can be harmful to the fish.

It depends....in the 2.5gal tank...is it filtered, any live plants, type of substrate and how deep, any other livestock along with the Betta.....

Generally, with 2.5gal filtered tank without live plants-water changes of 50% twice weekly....1-50% water only and 1-50% with substrate cleaning by vacuum or stir and dip will maintain water quality for a single Betta.
Filter media needs a swish/rinse in the bucket of old tank water a couple of times a month to maintain water flow.

In 2.5gal unfiltered without live plants-twice weekly....1-50% and 100% to maintain water quality....

If you have live plants-water changes can vary based on number, species and if active growing or not.....

Thanks guys...yes I have a heater & the whisperi3 I've been rinsing the filters off its a newer tank as of last sat. Id like to add live plants a few .I don't like the plastic ones. I have one betta in the tank and a silk plant. Also id like to add a sponge or somthing the help slow the movment in the water a bit any sugestions? Also I add conditioner to the water. I'm thinking about buying a 10gallon tank in the future.

Also yes I own a water vacuum...seems less stressfull to neacco*
