This is my fish! This is Cobalt.. I dont know why but his gills have red stripes on them. They very red. He flaring He blue Veil Tail. And the other one is my sister's fish.. named Bluebell? blueberry? blue something!
The red are just when he flares/on his gills/beard whatever you wanna call it. He has red for the fins also. I dont get how it could be ammonia poisoning, I keep his bowl really clean... He's really active also, big bubbler for nest.
The other one wouldn't flare at Cobalt, so I couldn't tell if it had the same thing. I never really noticed it until I brought him into clearer light. It's only when he flares or sees another fish. Hmm I'll just keep an eye on it.
Do you guys know what type of betta the silvery-yellow mult is? (color is a guess lol)
