its like all this white stringy stuff hanging on him, what is it??

We need more info and a pic....complete this sticky and add to this thread....more detailed the better.....

Sadly... Hagrid passed away last night. It litterally looked like somone draped cobwebs on his body

Columnaris or a fungus probably. Sorry for your loss
