Reddit is a different type of social forum in which EVERYTHING you can think of is packaged nice and neat in their own "subreddits". So you can look at the "front page" which is a collection of everything together and then go into individual topics (aka subreddits) to communicate with hobbyists or fans who are like minded. You can comment, like things (called an upvote) or dislike (called a downvote) and yea .. It's really hard to explain the depth of it, you really have to check it out yourself!
I agree with all that y'all are saying. A lot has changed in five years. There were fewer forums, the community felt tighter, the old chat box was always being used, there weren't pop up ads....some of my old friends on here that I recognize haven't logged on in a few years, or worse, have been banned....it's like revisiting a small town after years of not being there.
