Colours?

Red and blue are the most common colors, I don't know about more dominant.

I would say red and blue more dominant (Popular) and Green, Yellow, Orange to be less dominant (Less Popular) if thats what you mean.

I just want to know since i'll be getting some red/orange female ct a few more weeks later.

Irid (green, blue, and steel blue) are dominant and will always appear for generations to come.

Red is mainly dominant on the fins - irid x red = irid body with red fins. It is also hard to breed out.

White, orange, and yellow are recessive and may not appear when cross bred. They have to do with red cambodian that carries NR genes. Red x cambodian should mainly be cambodian - some with more red (if genes are pure)

yes you can but you need to give him water changes everyday.

I've never saw an irid x red offsprings before,do you have a picture to show it?

Do irids occur only on the body?

No. Irids can occur on the fins - most common irids looks like rays (on the fins)

Once you mix red to irid, it would be difficult to return them to solid irid or solid red. There will always be multi, though only a smudge.
