So, I'm going to start conditioning my male and female bettas for my first breeding attempt. For conditioning food, I have frozen Bloodworms and BBS. As well as Aqueon Bettafood. Is this enough and good food for conditioning or if not, what is?​

Are you setting up a bbs hatchery to condition your bettas?
It's good food but I think it's unnecessary work when dealing with adults.
I have no idea of the quality of the Aqueon food because I don't use it. For conditioning I preffer NLS if we're talking food found at the LPS.
Better than that is Attisons but I buy it through the IBC.
Frozen bloodworms are good but you want to provide the extra nutrients that pellets offer.
Remember to up the water changes to compensate the amount of food you will be feeding.

No, the BBS are frozen, however, I was planning on setting up a hatchering in a week or so for the babies.

Got it. Try the bbs out first. I know from experience they get very messy in the tank. They are good for fry but adults aren't crazy about them. Frozen brine shrimp (not baby) are better for adults.
Wait to setup your hatchery until after your fry hatch, any earlier and you will lose the batch.

Get the full sized brine shrimp for adults.

I have frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, and frozen misquito larva. they seem to like them in that order. Bloodworms are their favorite and they'll eat it until it is coming out their ears!! haha! But I like to vary their diet somewhat. Sometimes I give a bit of flake but they just nibble on it after frozen....

I feed BBS to all my adults. I condition them on BBS, frozen bloodworms, and Atison Pro. Several feedings a day.
