Would anyone be interested in purchasing this crochet betta I made? I have been working on developing my own pattern and this is my first attempt. I plan on playing around with different colors and tail types in the future.

He measures 11 inches from nose to tail. He would be $25 (including shipping). US only for now. Sorry!

I've been selling my stuff locally for a couple of years, but I've always dreamed of opening an Etsy shop. I plan to make that dream a reality once I familiarize myself with shipping costs, etc. :) I mostly make amigurumi (cute stuffed animals/toys).

You definitely need an Etsy shop. I suppose if you only make one size, a medium flat rate box would suffice. They're $12 if you buy them from PayPal (commercial-based price). The thing about flat rate boxes is: they're always the same price wherever your customer is. If you want to expand your horizons to Canada and The UK, there's little extra effort you need to do aside from checking currency converter websites and filling out a custom declaration form (shouldn't give you any trouble since the fish isn't live ;) ). Good luck!

(( I would totally do a custom-made, but I'm going home in four days so maybe after summer ))

Good advice! I am finishing up a big order for a family member (2 elephants, 2 penguins, and a unicorn - oh my!), then I'm going to get started on some things for my shop. This guy will likely be listed there as well. Thanks for the tips! Hopefully I'll have some other tail types figured out and can make a custom one for you sometime in the future!

Oh yes, you could also do those bubble envelopes, that is, if they're that small. Those aren't expensive at all, and I don't think they cost much to ship out, I haven't had the chance to use one for my pillows yet.

It is stuffed. It is made with acrylic yarn and stuffed with fiberfill.

If you could customize them to look like people's bettas those would sell like hot cakes no doubt!

I'm working on setting up an Etsy shop. I want to work out the pricing to include materials + shipping + Etsy's cut. I also want to get a few items in the shop first before I start to share the link. Definitely thinking of doing custom bettas. Maybe just for people on this forum for now. Stay tuned!
