it's hard to say. just like some halfmoons have smaller tails, some have super tails, same with all tail types.

It depends what genes it has in it, for example if it has a halfmoon gene in it the fins could be long, or a plakat gene would mean it would be shorter

I would say from the picture your boy still has a fair bit of growing to do!

Delta's could go long as it's not 180 or over, then that will be considered HM or OHM. if you could give him daily flarings you could easily get him to a super delta or a HM ;p pretty boy though

maybe he needs time to settle in? idk, it took my HMPK a month to flare at his reflection. you could try to show other fish around him ;p
