Does my betta have worms? Please help!

Hi Betta community,
Im new to this, my sons betta hasnt been eating at all for 2 weeks and has a long stringey thing hanging from his body. He doesnt move much at all and looks like he is dead. Iv read it myt be parasites and i could treat with epsom salts or rock salt? I dont have any in the house but i do have himalayan rock salt could that work? I dont think he will last the night:(

Tetra Parasite Guard. You can find it at your local pet store. They're big fizz tabs and easy to use, just follow the directions on the box. I've used this successfully before with new fish that have had internal worms.

Never use any type of salt in a freshwater aquarium other than salt made for them. This is called Aquarium Salt. It will not treat internal parasites.

I hope your sons fish made it through the night! Will keep my fingers crossed for you.
