I'm going to be starting up with a new tank and filter soon, and was looking at some conditioners and those "safe-start" kit things.
I came across API Stress Zyme. I'm considering buying some, but I'd like the opinion of the people here first.
Does this stuff actually help and improve the cycling of your tank? Does it really speed up the process? Is it worth buying?

I am using it.....but it is just for breaking down organic material, it does not have actual cycle bacteria. I did use "cycle' for that, hoping it is indeed true that
they changed the recipe and now included the actual nitrifying bacteria.
In any case, I had no problems YET with high ammonia or nitrite.

With stress zyme though- think it works for my 2.5g tank, but honestly, I don't really have prove to back it up, just impression and "gut feeling". ;-)
