I like it! I think it is targeted at the stereotypical "betta in a bowl" scenario that you see/hear about everywhere. Yes, there are always exceptions, but I think it's pretty clear that it refers to the tiny, unheated death traps that most people keep bettas in.
Exactly, I didn't mean to offend anyone that has a jumbo fish bowl. But when most people hear fish bowl, they usually think of the small fish bowl, that you can buy for $5 at most stores.
wow that is my signature! lol anyway yes i believe a fish can be kept in a bowl( but really only bettas) but your average bowl is not filtered or heater or cleaned properly.
It'd be cool to see that shirt sold in pet stores. It'd give the shoppers something to think about, at least, when they buy bettas for their kids.
The biggest bowl I've seen for sale was an 8 gallon. I thought it'd be kinda nostalgic and awesome to have if I didn't have cats. But I also think the number of bettas trapped in dirty, unheated bowls (on average) is way too high.
yea. it is just the though of bowl dun dun dun . oh no!!!!!!
