I have a girl I bought on Friday, she's barely over an inch long, tail included. I have Omega One pellets, and I've been crushing them and she's eating the pieces.

My question is, should I be feeding her small feedings multiple times a day? I usually feed my fish twice per day, with one day of fasting per week (Monday). Last night she only ate one piece of the crumbled pellet, but today she ate all the pieces of the pellet. She's so tiny, I want to make sure that she gets enough to eat, but I don't want to feed her too much and cause constipation/bloating.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would just keep with your normal feeding schedule - twice a day, small amount.

if you need a different pellets - look into Omega One Marine Micro Pellets. They are super tiny and easy for small fish to eat.

I agree, stick with the regular feeding schedule.

IME, female bettas are extremely tenacious. If there is food in their tank, they will figure out a way to eat it, no matter how big ;-)
Just one of the many, many reasons female bettas are my favorites.

Enjoy your new girl - they are a joy to own!
I currently have seven, all housed separately (no sorority for me).
