So i bought a 5gallon tank for Wille, but i think the filter is to strong, how would i go about muffleing it so when i put him in there he dosen't get pushed around, will a sponge do the trick?

Sponge is fine just make sure it's safe to go in the tank. Using a bit of filter media would work well using a rubber band to secure it. I've used stockings to do it before now, that worked quite well.
