I have had my betta for 3 months. I have not been keeping up with cleaning his tank every week like i should, and I think that may contribute to why his fins are so bad. I am so stressed about this, I just don't know what to do. I put aquarium salt in his tank every time I clean it, but it doesn't seem to work. Please help me. Thank you for being honest on your maintenance.

He is absolutely beautiful!

I‘d do four 25% water changes a couple of hours apart.

No rinsing of the décor or substrate necessary. Just vacuuming thoroughly to let your good bacteria stay attached to the surfaces of anything inside the tank.

You can pick 1 day per week and mark it in your diary on the phone or put a sticky on the tank. With a Smiley😁.

Could you maybe try to get another picture of him flaring so we could see his fins very clearly? He might be biting a bit. Just wanted to confirm.
