I went out and purchased a Betta for the first time, its been a long time since I have taken care of a fish, and even then it was just simple goldfish.
I'll be moving out in a few days and once my new room gets all completely set up, I'll probably get a better set up for this little guy -not really into the plastic tank- kinda just wanted a tank until i can afford something bigger and better.

I'm kinda nervous that i'm going to kill it and i will be transporting him up to my new house in two days.

His name is Akira :)

He's lovely! I felt the same way about my boy when I first brought him home, but he's still OK. Try not to worry. As long as he's warm and has clean water, and maybe some places to hide they he'll be good.

Well the tank I got only came with some Rocks and gravel, but if he needs somewhere to hide then I can try to find something :p

If the tank is large enough, a glass or coffee mug should do for now. just make sure it's clean, but no soap
