I personally would say that the fins seem to long to be a girl, although I have to say they are more "girl shaped"

I would say a Male Crowntail that is marbling and hasnt fully developed his fins

if i could clearly see the whole body i could probably make a good guess. but i do agree the fins look female shaped, they are a little long, but some females have a bit longer fins. i've seen a lot that do!

I can't get a better picture just yet... the poor thing is scared to death of the camera,,, flies off as soon as the camera comes up.... and this one is quick and a jumper.... definitely will never leave uncovered... splashed up out of the water a couple times already! The cup was labeled "female",,, I didn't even notice until I got home... just assumed it was a male... not that is matters..

lol. it happens. and i just got a male crowntail thats actually about the same colors and markings as yours! and he's a scaredy cat too! ha. but i still think it's possible it's a she. the body shape looks more female than male from this picture. i could still be wrong though.
