Hi All!

Found this forum via Google, where I've searched a lot regarding betta fish 😊

I'm from Malaysia, somewhere around Southeast Asia.

I've started to have one or two betta fish during the COVID-19 pandemic/lockdown phase as a beginning.
I was working from home for two years straight, and I somehow felt burned out so bad that I've started to take a break from work. I can't go out; hence I bred my betta fish.

And they made me feel better. I quit my job tho'. Haha!

Anyway, here's a picture of my baby bettas. Halfmoon Plakat (HMPK) Galaxy Koi.
I'll be moving the female to a bigger tank and separating the males as they grow so fast!

You've got some really pretty kiddos!! I'm no breeder, but it's always cool to see ones with koi genetics from other people spawns. You never seem to know what you're gonna get!

I'm glad to hear they helped you through that time though. There's just something so calming about animals, you know?

Thank you! I'm thinking of breeding half-moon type for the next one, but I have to give away or sell my babies first. Since this is the 1st spawn, I just can't let them go, haha!

But indeed, fishes soothe me. When you're having a rough day, just take a look at them..

They're around 4-months now. Am not sure whether the size fits the average of a 4-month betta fish, but the color progress is impressive!

Every spawn grows in its own time. Healthy fish are all that matters!
