Hello there!

Many thanks for receiving me here.

My name is Ricardo Correia and I'm from Portugal.

I love blackwater tanks and have a few wild betta fish: Hendra; Rubra; Mandor; Mahachaiensis; Elei; Albimarginata Malinau and Albimarginata Sebuku.
Been able to breed them all, expect for the Mandor. Its a pair that I got recently from a felow Portuguese breeder, and I haven't tried yet.

Got in a trade some Black Tiger Badis (Dario sp. 'Myanmar') and Dario dario.

Like I said, keep them all in blackwater tanks. Most of the tanins I get are from forests nearby. Since its they isolated, not so much problem with pollution.

Well, I hope to learn from your experiences. I just got to this forum trying to learn more about Sp. Jade.

Gonna check out how to work with this forum and might upload some pictures of my tanks.

Here's a sneakpeak..Betta Albimarginata Malinau.

Here in Portugal we have a small group of wild betta breeders. Among the species: Simorum, Api Api, betta brownorum, Antuta, Patoti, Macrostoma; Channoides; Uberis, Wild Splendens, siamorientalis. I'm skipping some species I bet..

I LOVE Dario Dario, so tiny and cute! My LFS always has them in and I'm always so tempted. I don't think I've ever seen the tigers around here, please post pics if you can I know they are a fave of @RussellTheShihTzu as well.
