A ten gallon tank would be the smallest you could go for five guppies and keep them healthy. Make sure to have a few places for them to hide, because males tend to chase each other until one drops dead in smaller tanks without places to hide. Best of luck!

I have 5 male guppies in my 29 gallon community tank. The problem is my neon tetras and black neons don't care for them. Now they hide all the time.
