took a trip to walmart today, to go with Ma while she bought her mother's day gift(dad gave her money to buy herself some new clothes). of course, i had to stop in the pet department to look at the fish tanks, see what they had. while there, a lady was looking at the tanks. she and i started talking, and i found out her mother wanted a small tank to put on the kitchen counter. i told her that any of the tanks on the shelves there would look great, and she could get a betta to put in them. her whole family does fish, and her husband keeps a saltwater tank! o-O she ended up getting a 3 gallon 'halfmoon' tank(one of the new half-circle shaped tanks) for her mother, and a five gallon for her son(he wanted Spongebob decorations). i helped her get some cute plants for her mother's tank, told her the dollar tree sells bags of rocks for a dollar, and told her about the pet store i shop at. :3

of course, then, i noticed two spots by the 'betta water'.... one was labled "Male betta". yeeeeah. :I not happy. i gotta NOT save someone, 'cause i'm holding out for my adopted babies and a boy from Mr. Vampire here.

so, all-in-all, my day was pretty good. :3 found out the five gallon kit is only thirty dollars.

Yeah a five gallon is $30 and a 10 gallon is what $25. My sister was going to get a five gallon for her fish, but then decided to go with the ten gallon and do a sorority cause it was cheaper lol

i hope the lady's mom enjoys the tank. :3 i picked out some pretty plants for her, and told her about the rocks over at the dollar store. the pet store gets in all kinds of pretty and unique bettas, and her son wanted Spongebob theme, and they sell all the characters and the Krusty Krab and Squidward's house caves. the people there are pretty smart when it comes to bettas, too. i hope she got Will. :V he really knows his stuff!
