Keep is short and simple; or one that has a cute nickname. Mine have been Sunshine (Sonny), Maraschino (Chino), both of them ave passed; and now, New Fish/Newf (dull, but I couldn't handle a lovey name after my Chino passed). He hears and knows his name(meal time!!), is a happy, feisty, ever-hungry baby with 6 neon tetras to keep him company and busy! And challenged for food at feeding time. Every so often he joins in on a game of tag with them. I will admit, I do do a neon-count at meal time just to make sure they're still getting along. I can shout "Newf!" across the room and he immediately starts checking for food.

Sooo.... Wingardiumleviosa... short? snappy? Honestly, kids!! But it's okay we're calling him Levi for short.

And this one is constantly at the food hatch when I go near, never knew they were that intelligent!! It's incredible.

Wow, I didn't see that blue shimmer, he looks amazing! (Maybe give him the name of a blue star?) You have further persuaded me to get a dark betta haha

It's like he's be dusted with mica powder, it's really beautiful whatever light he is in. Navy is my fave colour so he was a no brainer.

Ummm we have a name: Wingardiumleviosa

But I'm pleased to introduce him as Levi

Wingardiumleviosa is an absolutely wonderful name!! They've got great taste

On top of that, IMO, it seems kind of fitting. Such a beautiful Betta has to have some sort of spell on him!

Yeah I'm coming round, and we're all HP nuts in this house. But I love Levi for short too.

I'm now completely smitten. He seems to developing this kind of leopard print on his top fin too... looks kinda cool. Hoping it's a good thing
