Hey guys, my name's John and I'm 23 years old. I just got my first betta a few weeks ago and pretty excited to have a pet. I haven't had a pet since moving into my apartment and figured a betta would be a great place to start as I don't have to pay a ridiculous pet deposit and such. I've had fish before but it's been probably 5-10 years since then.

I'm from Colorado and Kentuckian by force, too. Lol. And will be living in Texas sometime next year. Lol. Welcome to our crazy forum. We like to have fun while we're learning about the fish we love.
