Hi, I'm new to the forum and to Betta. I recently got myself a lively and lovely male Betta named Wynn (meaning fair, handsome). I'm learning there is a lot more the Betta than the pet stores let on but find taking care of Wynn is rather relaxing

what color does he appear in person? I know pics always distort green-looking pics, usually turquoise is the true color. this one almost looks like a mint green, very cool either way

Without the flash his body is more of a very faint pink, he has some very faint blue patches on top of his head and other places, and then of course some vibrant red on his fins and you are right that those minty parts are more blue (on his fins), I love looking at him though, he catches the light and looks very interesting!
