I'm Janine. I've been a member for a long time now. I started this hobby with Tango, my very much loved orange dalmatian VT (love and miss you old man!). I remember starting here with 1, much like most of you. :D Now I have many. And they are all adored.

Aside from fish, I have a basset hound named Molly, and two kitties, Lex and Kira. I've been wanting mice for a while now but I have some organizing to do in the house and I swore to myself that I would finish that before adding another pet.

I'm 39 years old, married to the always wonderful Steve. I used to work in child care but I'm a stay at home wife now. We don't have any kids of our own but our pets keep me plenty busy. I love to read, play video games of all kinds, I like making wreaths too but I haven't done that in a long while. I have a whole 'craft room' that has been abandoned in favor of a fishy hobby. :) I also like to be in the woods and/or outside. Even in the winter I try and get at least 15 minutes of 'sun' time every day while the dog is out doing her thing. That's all I can think of. Thanks for readin'. :-D

I've probably played most MMOs. Wow, Everquest 2, SWG, LOTRO, Aion, COH, Rift, Champions. My husband spent the last few months putting together a wonderful group of guys for our Star Wars The Old Republic guild and we're waiting eagerly for launch. :D.

The Guild will be kind of new to us. We ran one in SWG but we ended up with the most clingy bunch of people you could imagine and it kind of scared us away. This time we made sure to get people who would still play if we didn't log on. Lol! We've been used to just me and him for a long while now.

I do play console games too. We have an Xbox 360, a wii. And a ps3. :D

I've played EQ1 from betta til about '04, WoW until about 5 months ago, played SWG, LoTRO, Rift for all of a week, Anarchy Online when it first came out.. my boyfriend has been betta testing the new Star Wars- I'll be playing that a little bit after launch (I want to wait until most players have moved on from the starting areas.. I've been watching him play and I think it will be fun as you can do so much solo, and yet can still play with a small group of friends. And each character you play will have different stories with different responses.

I can understand the whole "needy and clingy" people in running a guild. My boyfriend and a couple of his friends ran one of the top guilds, and raiding guilds on our server- my boyfriend was the one who set up the raids and you just couldn't please everyone. Some just didn't understand that just because you barely hit top lvl, you weren't ready to step into end raid content lol. They were together for about 4-5 years. I did some healing, but mostly dps, my bf was one of the guild healers- was rated top healer at one time on server. It was fun with old content, when you actually had to work for things.. now it's just beyond stupid-easy and the new set up that's coming out you can see that Blizzard has given up on the American player base and going for Asian players as they tend to go for PvP over PvE and the new system, 2 out of 3 choices in each category is PvP based.

Star Wars ToR will be different for us too- limited people in the guild, just the core friends/players from the WoW guild (last week all of them left the game, leaving some of the regulars staying as new guild leaders). I'm just going to take my time and enjoy the game and enjoy making alts lol

That's exactly what we want to do. Take our time. I was in beta also so I know I'll enjoy it and I am an old, old Star Wars fan so it goes without saying that I'll play it. I have alt-itis so that will keep me busy.

I actually set my old Wow account to play free last night and I can't believe how much it's been dumbed down. Still, it'll keep me busy for a few days til I get into SWTOR. We have our Guild preloaded so we're all set to go. EXCITED!!!

Woohoo! Glad you are excited :D What server are you playing on? Can't remember the name of the one we'll be on.. but it would be cool to be able to say hi now and again :)

I won't find out til Monday. They'll be sending us an email with our server on it. Our Guild will already be there and the first character we make up on that account will be put into the Guild. It's really rather a neat system!

If you guys use Guildlaunch, you can find us there. We're VSquad. :D
V Squad - Beta - Star Wars: The Old Republic - Guild Hosting - Guild Launch

Steve rolls his eyes at me too. I don't know why you do it but I get bored with the same powers and combat stuff over and over. I have to do something new or I zone out.

Nice! I don't know anything about the system.. letting the boys set it up. I am drawing a blank at the name.. but I know Refuge is part of the name, since that was the guild in WoW.

I just know that I will get the game.. wait a few weeks (will be having surgery shortly after release.. so I have to wait regardless :-( ) then I'll jump on wherever they are lol.

Even still.. squee! It's going to be fun lol
