hi there,
i've had my betta for almost 2 weeks now, and he's seemed very happy. he's in a two gallon bowl, the temperature is sliiiiiightly lower than it should be, but not by much at all, he has a nice big plant, clean water, and has made a bubble nest BUT:

he seems bored ALL THE TIME.
and i think he's even pacing now. what do i do? is there too much light maybe? should i test the water?

i'm really scared.

also, i dunno if this is normal, but he always rubs his head on the glass of the bowl as if he's trying to get out???

Don't worry about it. :) He's a smart betta, he know who feeds him, so he gets excited when he sees you. And he might see his reflection which would also make him excited.

My fish always do that when they see me, but I figure it's the equivalent of a fishy hand wave.
