There is a strange film on top of my bettas tank. I've noticed it before and when I did I did a 100% change but now it is back I have no idea what it is but its scaring me, I'm afraid this "film" might hurt my betta in some way. Any ideas on what it is or how I can prevent it from coming back. *PICS INCLUDED*

i have the same thing but sadly im not sure what it is either. i just put him in his new tank yesterday
It's protein film. It's harmless, just ugly.
so its not bad at all??
No, it's perfectly normal, especially in tanks without filtration to break it up.
You can lay a paper towel on the surface and it will absorb a lot of it.
