Hi from Central Kentucky

Hi all, I'm new, and like a newb, I made my first panicky post to the diseases subforum. Goodness.

I've recently rediscovered keeping fish, having not had any in probably about 7 years. I have a beautiful blue crown tail betta named Blu-ray (My friends all wanted to name him betamax D who I love like I've never loved a fish before, as well as an unfortunate walmart baby who is doing much better now that I've dropped him into my medicated hospital tank.

I also have a community tank where my three wonderful shrimp happily steal all the food from my tetras.

I'm hoping I can meet some nice fish-savvy friends, considering the only person I know who has kept anything more interesting than a gold fish is a salt water invert buff with no knowledge of freshwater tropical fish!
