Hi!

He sounds like a cute fish! We'd love to see a photo of him! I have a double tail halfmoon Betta named Caspen. He has a light pink base with blue scales, a blue-violet color starting from his spine and it fades to a cherry red. His tail is currently healing form fin rot a few weeks back. Super nice fish too, love him lots.

My little one is sort of camera shy, he does it for treats ONLY.😆 My boy, Caspen is so spoiled! It's also time for me to get him a new air pump, his is about busted, TOO loud and not pumping bubbles properly, I have it turned to the max and barely any bubbles come out. 😂

Merlin isn't actually the First betta fish that came under my care, he's the 3rd. The first was King Richard (Red for short) He was a red and dark blue halfmoon, His story was one day me and my sister were on a walk when We started talking with a neighbor who was about to move and couldn't find anyone to take care of him, she'd asked us if we wanted him and told us his name was Red and We were of course Like YES! so she talked to our mom about him and she said it was okay and We adopted a new fish. Red was always such a feisty little guy, He loved to attack fingers, I wish I'd taken some photos while he was still around. R.I.P. Richard, you are missed. He lived a long Life in fact he lived past life expectancy by 3 years. Then came my second Dark blue and teal Half moon I bought at petco, who we named Gladius. An accident lead to his demise...I still Feel so bad about it even though no one could've known. the reason I mention the previous two is because Red's pump was so Incredibly Loud that we only ran it every once in a while.
